Hi, I am a former RN trying to adapt to early retirement. Why you ask? Alas, the answer is bitter. I got sick and no longer felt I could practice safely. The thing is, with lives depending on me and me sick, I didn't think I was at 100% and less than that made me seriously worried. Nothing ever happened, I did not make any bad mistakes, but I was so worried I quit. Hence early retirement.

This blog will be mostly for me, but anyone sharing the feelings of leaving a cherished occupation before they had planned to is welcome to comment. I will also post more about the illness that caused me to quit and what I am trying to do now. However, since I am new to all of this, and a Baby Boomer (read low tech person) for now, I just want to see if I can get this to work at all.
